Transportion System in Chennai

I am seeing a lot of improvement in transportation system in Chennai.like A/C bus being introduced and the closed door buses which reduces footboard travelers, new ticket receipts in express buses but I don’t see any difference in this despite all these changes the big trouble makers are conductors. I would like share an instance happened with me… Yesterday at mid night 12.30 am I was waiting for an auto to arrive but none turned back long….. fortunately (may be unfortunately) I saw a bus coming and got into it I had to go to parrys the conductor was already tensed

The game starts now!!! I don’t know why but with a rude voice he asked “enga ponum” (where do u want to go?) I said parrys. Again with same tone 4.50 give me exact change or else get down. I gave him 10 rupees he said no change I argued I have given 10 rs not 100 he didn’t accept, then again i searched all the pockets and found a 50 paise thank god I gave him 50 paise but even then he said no change we started arguing he was rude and I also had to be else u can’t survive in Chennai.

I asked him to show his bag there were lots of 5rs coins in it. I said ok give me 5rs its ok I don’t need that 50 paise but he refused I said ok give me 5rs ticket n give me the 5 rs balance but he is saying if I give u the change wat will I give to others….. I thought come on its already 12.45 am u can only expect devils at this time in chennai. Then I said leave abt the people getting in the bus later first give the change to me then to others.
I don’t want to argue with him anymore coz its already 12.45am and I don’t want to mess up things I calmly said ok give me the change in the last stop if u have, else its fine in a soft tone (kabbi kabbi Chennai mein Gandhigiri be chaltha hai..) he gave me ticket n also the exact change.

I am not complaining abt the transportation system… this will happen when there is a human intervention…

I have been to Singapore for an onsite assignment and my stay there was for 5 months. The Traffic and Transportation system is one of the most I admire keeping aside Singaporean girlsJ. I have used e-money transaction in banks but something of similar sort was also used for transportation there. The ez-link card which is used for transportation is like a Debit card + access card. When you enter and exit the train stations and bus just tap… jakas all done no big queue.. no irritating conductors.. perfect maintenance of scheduled services… when will chennai become like this. I wish and hope our transportation system should change soon.

Change in destination Should it be taken Serious?

Human mentality is like complaining about something getting changed which they don't usually expect. "I wanted to be in that B - school but i got admission only in this B- School"..... When they dont get what they expected, they get affected psychologically...

I would like to tell you an instance which happened in my life 8 years back. My uncle was working in a printing press in dubai i was so much facinated to take up a course in Mechanical engineering and thought of working with him in dubai. after my 10th standard i have applied through councelling for a 3 and a half years diploma course in Machine tools maintenance and repair. Though i didnt get Mechanical engineering I thought my dreams are getting fulfilled, Atlease i got something similar. When i reached the college on the first day. There were only 4 people (All were guys :-(). We were called by princi on the first day.

A Schocking news was waiting for me. Princi: Hello Guys, So how do u feel in college. We have only u 4 guys in MTMR course i am giving u a good opportunity u can join any other course that is available with us. Since We had introduced this course from this year we dont have volumes and Setup. Management has decided not invest heavily just for u 4 guys. All the 3 Happily took Comp Sci. i was like... dont kno wat to do.

My dad told me to choose IT. IT... what the hell it is then some one told me its like comp sci stuff. I was so sad and worried. i was complaining my dad, my princi and every one around me. a year passed then i found IT to be interesting. I did my B.Tech also in IT and thats the reason i am here today.

It wasnt much horrible as i thought... its infact turned out to be better choice. So my conclusion here is Change in destination is definitely a loss but not worth worrying too much :-) Live happily and enjoy the life.

Please Do Not Disturb

I get lots of phone call every day. Guess who???? Not my girl friends, Not my home, Not my onsite co-ordinator... Who else the Credit agencies. They call me atleast 4 times a day. offf...

They play a good trick, initially they ask. sir, which credit cards are u using sir? if say for example ICICI. you will again get a call from ICICI next day saying u have been our privilege customer do want to apply any Loan?

if u say i am not interested they'll ask sir give me ur friends number sir. Why do i want my friends to get disturbed.

Once, i got a call saying sir ur card is already approved sir all u have to do is put a sign in paper which our rep will bring to your office. hey come on when did i apply for it?

we have Spam Filters for email, you can register with Telecom service provider to restrict the number of promotional SMSs sent to subscribers. but what about Credit card agencies and Banks?

I am going to help some of u come out of this disturbances.

I have listed out sites of some of the bank where u could register not to disturb and you will not get a call from that bank. if you recieve any call then you can file a case on them.

Should Non - Veg be prohibited?

People talk more about ‘Vegetarianism’ these days. Many even associate it with animal rights. I am not against vegeterians however they should not condemn non-vegetarians as ruthless.

Meat is nutritious and rich in complete protein
Non-vegetarian food is a good source of protein. It contains biologically complete protein i.e. all the 8 essential amino acid that are not synthesized by the body and should be supplied in the diet. Meat also contains iron, vitamin B1 and niacin.

Humans have Omnivorous set of teeth
If you observe the teeth of herbivorous animals like the cow, goat and sheep, you will find something strikingly similar in all of them. All these animals have a set of flat teeth i.e. suited for herbivorous diet. If you observe the set of teeth of the carnivorous animals like the lion, tiger, or leopard, they all have a set of pointed teeth i.e. suited for a carnivorous diet. If you analyze the set of teeth of humans, you find that they have flat teeth as well as pointed teeth. Thus they have teeth suited for both herbivorous as well as carnivorous food i.e. they are omnivorous. One may ask, if Almighty God wanted humans to have only vegetables, why did He provide us also with pointed teeth? It is logical that He expected us to need and to have both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food.

Human beings can digest both vege-tarian and non-vegetarian food
The digestive system of herbivorous animals can digest only vegetables. The digestive system of carnivorous animals can digest only meat. But the digestive system of humans can digest both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. If Almighty God wanted us to have only vegetables then why did He give us a digestive system that can digest both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food?
Even plants have life
If killing of living creatures is against or something cruel then Even plants have life, Even plants can feel pain, Even plants cry only thing is human cant hear it because its far from the frequency range a human can listen.

These are edited quotes of zakir naik which inspired me and i thought would share with others.
